In Eastern Orthodox weddings, a beautiful bridal cloth (sometimes called a hand tie) joins the right hands of the bride and groom. This represents their joining together to become one mind and one flesh. Traditionally, the names of the couple and the wedding date are embroidered on the bridal cloth. The couple then keeps this as an heirloom and remembrance of their wedding day.
Our bridal cloths feature an embroidered Orthodox cross in the Antiochian style. Additionally, we offer three thread color options: champagne gold, metallic gold, and metallic silver. We also offer personalization options for the names of the bride and groom, as well as the wedding date.
